Owner Resources

Whether you’re a public, private or large agency, design-build delivers innovative and resilient projects allowing you to meet or exceed cost, schedule and quality goals. DBIA’s Owner members lead our industry by utilizing design-build to deliver our nation’s most innovative and resilient projects across all sectors.

Owners decide what gets built, when it gets built and how it gets built. They are the organizations (or employees) that control the design and construction processes. Examples are real estate developers, private facility Owners, academic institutions and government agencies. (This does NOT include firms and/or people that provide design and construction services such as contractors, A/E firms, architects, etc.)

In the Rocky Mountain Region, it is essential to our community that our owners have access to the right knowledge and resources to procure and lead successful Design Build projects. We are fortunate to have great partners, like the University of Colorado Boulder, who developed a project delivery selection matrix tool to help you determine if Design Build is the right method for you, and leading researchers, like Keith R. Molenaar, who have studied and extrapolated what makes a great project! Through the combined resources of DBIA national and the regional educational support, we hope you find what you need to continually improve your projects.
